Home Grown food - Bed and Breakfast Clonakilty

We have had for a good no. of years, our own polytunnel where we grow and produce our own produce. Even though West Cork, enjoys it's own micro climate. A polytunnel ensures that we have morning picked fresh vegetables for a significant part of the year.

As you can see in the main photo above, we have a diverse range of crops growing at any one time, such as cabbages, tomatoes, courgette's and Runner Beans. These naturally change, with the growing season and we adjust our recipes accordingly

We also grown vegetables in an outdoor garden as well, such as Potatoes.

Given that gardening is something that we enjoy, we also maintain a well maintained and cared garden. It really is a special experience to sit during a beautiful evening, watching the sun going down, over West Cork. We hope that youejoy it as well.
